I bought this case for my iPod Touch 3G 64GB, because I already had the iPhone version of it for my 16GB 3GS. The case for my iPhone fits it perfectly, however the iPod version of the Luxe does not fit the iPod Touch correctly. The top (colored) piece fits nicely, however the bottom (black) portion of the case is forced to expand, which leaves a gap between the two pieces, where they come together at the sides. I really wanted to like this case, because the iPhone version is so nice, but I’m quite disappointed.

This case provides excellent protection. It’s very lightweight and fits snugly over the device. It’s also very attractive and the finish has a really nice feel to it. The only complaint I have is that the finish has started to chip away in small places. Admittedly, I am pretty hard on the thing, but it would be nice if it’d made it at least a few months before starting to show signs of wear. Aside from that, I’m very happy with this case, and at this price point,I’m not all that upset about it.

As far as keeping my touch from getting damaged this item is great. i am not too happy about the openings at the bottom. some of the off-brand connectors won’t plug in all the way. i had to purchase a different connector to hear my ipod on my home stereo since the one i had would not plug in all the way. if they made the connector openings on the bottom a bit larger it would be better. i had planned on just removing the case to accommodate the connector issue but i can’t even remove it. i tried pushing the black (button?) on the back but no luck.

This seems like a very nice case. HOWEVER:
-VERY hard to take off, mine was IMPOSSIBLE to take off, i had to use a knife to remove it, causing damage to the case
-the only reason it feels smooth with a nice grip is because it is covered with a cheap rubbery material that starts to peel off after a few weeks
-this case is basically good for a month, probably less, then its trash
I do not recommend this case, find a better one.
